Ubicazione: ASTRA HOTEL è situato nel centralissimo ed ampio Viale Cavour, una delle principali arterie di collegamento al centro storico, a pochi chilometri dall'uscita autostradale di Ferrara Nord, lungo l'autostrada A13 Bologna - Padova. Il Castello Estense, la Cattedrale, ed il Palazzo dei Diamanti distano meno di cinque minuti a piedi.

Storia: Questo grande e moderno albergo è stato voluto dal costruttore edile Giancarlo Sisti, che aveva costruito, negli anni '50, l'intero immobile. Terminata la costruzione del grande palazzo, si procedette al completamento dell'Hotel, che si chiamò ASTRA (dal nome dell'intero stabile) e che venne inaugurato nel 1957.
Per quei tempi, l'Astra Hotel era modernissimo e l'inaugurazione fu uno straordinario avvenimento per la città intera. Dopo la scomparsa prematura del suo costruttore nel 1972, subentrò la figlia Manuela, continuandone la gestione con grande professionalità. Nel 1995 l'Hotel venne totalmente ristrutturato per continuare ad offrire la sua straordinaria modernità.
L'intero edificio risale dunque agli anni '50 come si può notare dall'architettura esterna.
Le tre Suites e la Hall dell'Hotel, come pure i salotti, sono arredati con mobili d'antiquariato e tappeti orientali.

Camere: Le eleganti 32 camere singole e le 34 camere doppie, sono arredate in stile classico ed impreziosite da tendaggi e moquettes di particolare gusto.
Alcune camere sono completamente dedicate alla migliore ospitalità di persone disabili. I bagni eleganti e funzionali sono con doccia o vasca e dispongono di termosifoni scaldateli ed asciugacapelli.
Tutte le camere sono attrezzate di chiave magnetica, pulsanti per l'apertura di persiane e porte, aria condizionata, TV SAT, telefono con linea diretta e presa fax, ricezione messaggi tramite monitor Tv direttamente in camera.

Ristorante: Gli ospiti dell'Hotel possono usufruire di un Ristorante con sala banchetti fino a 200 persone e sala 'à la carte' fino a 120 persone, dove si possono assaporare i piatti tipici della regione oltre ai più importati piatti internazionali. Il Ristorante è sede Rotary, Lions e dei più importanti clubs.
ASTRA RESTAURANT propone, insieme ai piatti della tradizione culinaria emiliana, la possibilità di gustare le specialità della cucina internazionale, interpretati dai propri rinomati Chef.

Sono inoltre disponibili salotti per colloqui e sale riunioni modulari da 5 fino a 120 persone.

L'Hotel, aperto tutto l'anno, si rivolge soprattutto ad una clientela d'affari o a famiglie.

Location: ASTRA HOTEL stays on the central and broad Viale Cavour, one of most important way of connection with the historical centre, few kilometers from the exit Ferrara Nord of the Highway A13 that connects Bologna to Padua. The Este’s Castle, the Cathedral, the Diamond’s Palace are less of Fifteen minutes by feet.

History: This big and modern hotel was wanted by the builder Giancarlo Sisti who built, in the ‘50, the whole block. As termined the palace, was completed the hotel, which was named Astra like all the building, and was inaugurated in 1957. In these times, ASTRA HOTEL was extremely modern, and the opening was an extraordinary moment for all the city. After the premature disappareance of the builder in 1972, his doughter Manuela take the lead of the hotel, continuing the direction with great professionality. During 1995 the hotel was completely restored to continue to offer its extraordinary modernity.
The whole building is of the ‘50 as is possible to see by the external architecture. The three Suites and the Hall, and also the sitting rooms, are fit up with antique furnitures and oriental carpets.

Rooms: The smart 32 single and 34 double rooms are furnished in a classical style and enriched with curtain and moquettes with particulat taste. Some rooms are completely dedicated to the best hospitality to disable people. Bathrooms have shower or tube and are provided of radiators warm-towel and hair-dryer. Every room has its magnetic key-card, buttons for to open doors and shutters, air conditioned, sat TV,direct line telephone, fax cable, possibility to riceive messages by tv monitor directly in the room.

Restaurant: Guests of the Hotel may dinner in a Restaurant which has a banquet room of 200 seats and ‘a la carte’ room of 120 seats, where is possible to taste the typical dishes of the region, and the most important international ones. The Restaurant is Rotary and Lion and the most important clubs seat.

The Hotel gives the possibility of sitting rooms and congress hall from 5 to 120 people.
