Antico e suggestivo borgo, databile seconda metà del 700, ristrutturato con gusto senza alterare le antiche suggestioni del luogo.E' composto dal "Molin Vecchio", ad acqua, e dal "Podere Oliviera" e si adagia, in provincia di Siena, sulle verdi colline toscane della Val di Chiana (400 mt. slm) tra vigneti,uliveti e prati coltivati a grano e girasoli.L'Antico Borgo Molino Astrone è immerso in oltre 10.000 mq. di prato e bosco e si posa in un'ansa del torrente Astrone, circonda una caratteristica "piazzetta" con suggestivi fabbricati tutti in pietra calcarea con pavimenti in cotto e volte in mattoni o in travi in legno (molino ad acqua, magazzini, fienile e piccionaia con stalla, casa del mugnaio, ..).Dispone di una piscina, un parco gioco per bimbi, campo da bocce, mountain bike, angolo pic nic. A poche centinaia di metri c'è un maneggio ed a circa 3 Km un accogliente centro commerciale. Sotto le volte settecentesche del molino, nelle stanze dove un tempo le mole!trasformavano il grano in farina, è stato realizzato un ristorante caratteristico e dalla calda accoglienza "Molin Vecchio". Dove oltre a gustare i sapori tipici della Val di Chiana, pici all'aglione o al ragù, le saporite zuppe toscane e la classica fiorentina, lo chef Massimiliano vi invita ad assaggiare le "Paste di Mamma Lina" e i suoi prelibati dolci

All'uscita dell'autostrada A1 Chiusi-Chianciano terme, svoltare a destra verso Chiusi, dopo circa 2 KM svoltare a destra (S.P.20) verso Cetona, dopo circa Km 2 la strada si avvicina all'autostrada nella curva verso sinistra prendere la strada sterrata con il ponte che attraversa l'autostrada, dopo circa 500 metri siete arrivati.

The Hold Little Village " Molino Astrone" is located in an old and charming village dates back to the second half of the 18th , tastefully restored, without arming or changing the ancient atmosphere.It comprises of the "Molino Astrone", an old water mill, and the "Oliviera" farm. This hold little village resort, Siena, is sited on a green Tuscan hill of "Val di Chiana" (400m above sea level) surrounded by picturesque meadows, wheat and sunflower fields, vineyards and olive groves.The farm hold little vilage resort " Molino Astrone", placed within 10,000sq. metres of land which includes a wood and a meadow, century and it is situated next to the bend of the Astrone river. This farm holiday resort comprises of a typical small piazza (piazzetta) and attractive buildings all made of calcareous stones, with floors in terracotta tiles and with brick vaulted or wooden ceilings (a water millstone, warehouses, a dovecote, the miller's house and so on.).The holiday resort includes a swimming pool, a playground, a bowling green and a mountain bike facility. There are riding stables just a few hundred metres away from the resort and a shopping centre is situated nearby (3km).A warm and characteristic restaurant, "Molin Vecchio" has place there where once the miller worked grain out in wheat, under the brick vaulted ceilings of the 18th. Here you can taste the typical flavours of Val di Chiana such as, pici all'aglione o ragu', the tasty Tuscany soups e the famous "fiorentina" steak. From the exit of the Chiusi- Chianciano Terme tollgate: turn right towards Chiusi; after 2 km, turn right towards Cetona (S.P. 20 Traversa Cassia) and after 2km, when you get closer to the motorway, cross the first flyover and after 500m along a dirty road, you will have reached the resort.
