Il relais è inoltre un ottimo punto di partenza per raggiungere in pochi minuti il Chianti con le sue magnifiche fattorie e i castelli, le città medioevali di Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, o le storiche città come Arezzo, Pistoia, Pisa, Lucca.

Le Camere: Il relais dispone di sei spaziose camere doppie arredate con molta cura, inserite in un ambiente raffinato e confortevole, che rendono il soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. Ogni camera è diversa dall’altra sia nella forma che nella scelta dei mobili e della tappezzeria. Arredi antichi, stampe ottocentesche e piccole collezioni di oggettistica completano la raffinata atmosfera.
Le camere climatizzate e insonorizzate sono dotate di tv satellitare, telefono diretto e plug per il collegamento internet. Gli armadi a muro, molto capienti e ben attrezzati, i bagni con ampi specchi e due lavabo incassati in candido marmo di Carrara, la zona w.c. separata come l’ampia doccia e la pavimentazione in pregiato parquet cabreuva vermelha, rendono l’atmosfera elegante, calda e accogliente.
All’interno delle camere è disponibile un servizio di cortesia per preparare thè o caffè, un fornito frigobar ed una selezione di spumante e vini di pregio da gustare in veranda o sotto il gazebo in assoluto relax.
Il relais è destinato ai non fumatori, pertanto la Direzione chiede il rispetto di questa norma da parte di tutti gli ospiti. Inoltre, al relais non sono ammessi animali.

Gli Esterni: Il relais è inserito nello scenario caratteristico delle eleganti colline fiorentine, con i cipressi e il corbezzolo, le ginestre e i pini, immerso nel verde e nei profumi della campagna toscana: profumi di lavanda, rosmarino, timo e nepitella. I fiori del mandorlo, del pesco e i colori intensi dei gerani, secondo la stagione, completano l’armonia del territorio.

La Piscina: Una deliziosa piscina collocata in posizione tranquilla e riservata è a disposizione degli ospiti da maggio a ottobre; dotata di ampio solarium con lettini e sdraio, consente una rilassante e tonificante pausa dal lavoro o dalle visite alle bellezze della terra toscana.

Il relais è dotato di parcheggio auto recintato così come tutta la struttura; l’accesso è consentito solo agli autorizzati attraverso un cancello elettrico con video- citofono garantendo privacy e sicurezza.

La Colazione: Durante la bella stagione la colazione viene servita nel grande gazebo. Si tratta di una deliziosa prima colazione continentale con marmellate locali, panini freschi dal gusto particolare, croissants o gustose torte della casa, oppure all’americana con scrambled eggs, formaggi, bacon, servita con cortesia e professionalità in raffinata porcellana e argenteria. L’atmosfera è quella della colazione in famiglia della domenica mattina; in effetti il relais, inserito nel giardino di una dimora privata, ha il sapore di casa, accogliente, confortevole, signorile, in cui l’ospite si sente a proprio agio come a casa.

Attività e Dotazioni: Per gli appassionati di Golf è possibile prenotare green-fees nei tre splendidi campi che circondano Firenze, ovvero lo storico Golf Club dell’Ugolino, il tecnico Poggio dei Medici o il suggestivo Le Pavoniere. Occorre in tal caso fissare i tee-times in anticipo prenotando direttamente al relais.

Gli amanti della cucina potranno fare “gustose esperienze” partecipando direttamente alla realizzazione di piatti tradizionali, per poi degustarli con la padrona di casa, assistendo alla loro preparazione ed al corretto metodo di cottura, veri segreti della cucina fiorentina.

E’ possibile inoltre organizzare degustazioni nel Chianti, shopping tours ai griffes-outlets, visite alle vecchie botteghe artigiane fiorentine; su richiesta possiamo riservare hostess o interpreti e servizio navetta per le manifestazioni fieristiche o congressuali.

The Rooms: The relais presents six spacious very finely furnished double rooms, within a refined and comfortable environment, making your stay pleasant and relaxing. Each room is different from the others, both in its shape, its furniture and in its tapestry. Antique furniture, 19th century prints and a small ornament collection complete the refined atmosphere.
The air-conditioned, microclimatic and soundproofed rooms are supplied with satellite tv, direct telephone line and plugs for Internet connections. The built-in closets, being very large and very well equipped. The bathrooms have large mirrors and double built-in Carrara marble washbasins. The toilet is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a door and so is the shower. The precious “cabreuva vermelha” parquet floor gives the atmosphere a warm and welcoming touch.
Inside the rooms you will find courtesy hot drink kettles, a mini-bar, and a wine and champagne selection that you may enjoy while in your room, or relaxing in the gazebo.
The relais is destinated to non smoking persons, thus the direction begs the clients to respect this rule. Besides, pets are not accepted.

Outside: The relais is surrounded by the typical scenery of the Florentine hills, with cypresses and cane-apple trees, broom bushes and pine trees, amongst the scents of lavender, rosemary, time and catmint. Almond and peach blossoms and the intense geranium colours, according to the season, complete the harmony of the landscape.

Swimming-pool: In a quiet and reserved location, a lovely pool with a large solarium, presenting deck chairs and sunning beds, is at guests’ disposal from May to October, assuring a relaxing and refreshing break from work or from touring amongst the beauties of the Tuscan land.

The relais and its parking lot are both fenced in. Access is permitted only through the automatic gate with a screen intercom, as privacy and safety are two prerogatives of our relais.

The Breakfast: Breakfast is served gracefully and professionally in the large gazebo during the summer months. It may be a traditional continental breakfast with local jams, croissants, or home- made pies, or it may be American style, with scrambled eggs for all tastes, cheese and bacon, served in refined Florentine china dishes and silverware, making it feel like a Sunday morning family breakfast.

As a matter of fact, the relais, as it is inside a garden of a private home, has that home feeling. Its cosy, comfortable and exclusive atmosphere makes our guests feel at ease just like in their own home.

Activities and Endowment: For golf lovers, it is possible to book “green-fees” in the three beautiful golf courses that surround Florence, the historical Ugolino Golf Club, the more technical Poggio dei Medici and the modern Le Pavoniere. In any case, it is necessary to book your golf trips in advance by reserving your “ tee-times “directly at the relais.

The gourmet cuisine lovers might have some “tasteful experiences” by directly taking part in the making, and of course tasting, of traditional Tuscan dishes prepared by the relais landlady, an experienced gourmet cook. You may help her choose the right ingredients and learn the right cooking methods, discovering the true secrets of Florentine cuisine.

We also organize “wine-tasting” in the Chianti area, “shopping tours” to the griffes outlets, and visits to the artisan workshops through the ancient quarters of the city.
