Dove Siamo: L'Hotel Catalunya è situato al centro di Alghero, ridente cittadina turistica della Riviera del Corallo. La città, facilmente raggiungibile da ogni parte d'Italia ed Europa, si trova infatti a soli 36 km dallo scalo marittimo di Porto Torres e ad una decina dall'aeroporto internazionale di Fertilia. L'albergo sorge al confine delle vecchie mura dominando sulla città antica. La sua posizione "strategica" consente di raggiungere in pochi minuti di cammino sia le vie del centro storico che la bellissima spiaggia del Lido.

Le Nostre Camere: Le 128 camere, tutte arredate con eleganza nei toni vivaci del blu, rosso e giallo, sono di quattro differenti tipologie: la camera doppia, è dotata di letti singoli; la matrimoniale occupa una superficie più ampia, e dispone di un divano letto singolo, per l'aggiunta del terzo posto. Le junior suite - all'ottavo piano - si compongono di due ambienti distinti: la zona notte con letto matrimoniale ed un salottino con divano trasformabile in terzo letto. Queste camere si aprono su un balcone con vista sul porto.Infine le suite d'angolo, dislocate ai vari piani, possono ospitare fino a quattro persone.

L'Hotel: L'hotel Catalunya, situato nel centro di Alghero, ha riaperto nel settembre del '97 completamente ristrutturato e rinnovato nella sua veste architettonica e funzionale. La distribuzione degli spazi comuni è stata totalmente rivoluzionata, grazie all'introduzione di un centro congressuale ben attrezzato. Lo stile architettonico d'interni ed esterni è di chiara ispirazione catalana : le greche, le decorazioni, la scelta dei colori, la ricerca di riferimenti al passato sono un omaggio all'identità storica di Alghero.

Al piano terra, attorno al centrale banco del ricevimento, si distribuiscono le aree comuni: la grande hall, l'american bar, la sala lettura, il centro congressi. Il primo livello è interamente occupato dal ristorante a buffet che offre agli ospiti una cucina di tipo internazionale. All' attico si trova invece un elegante ristorante panoramico; L'albergo dispone complessivamente di 128 camere di diversa tipologia. Al piano interrato, si trova il garage per una decina di posti auto.
L'albergo dispone inoltre nella vicina spiaggia del Lido di un tratto attrezzato per i suoi ospiti. La spiaggia è raggiungibile anche grazie ad un servizio navetta, garantito dal 10 giugno al 23 settembre.

Ristoranti: Al primo piano si trova il ristorante a buffet che si affaccia sul verde dei giardini pubblici. Il locale, si compone di due sale separate, per un totale di 250 posti a sedere. Qui al mattino gli ospiti possono gustare un'abbondante colazione internazionale a base di, tè o caffè, croissant, latte e cereali, succhi e frutta fresca, vari tipi di yogurt e marmellate. Su richiesta è disponibile anche il servizio in camera. Il Buffet di pranzo propone poi diverse alternative: oltre ad una certa varietà di antipasti, la scelta può ricadere su piatti di mare o di terra, tipici o nazionali, contorni vari, dolci di pasticceria propria, tutto accompagnato dagli ottimi vini locali.
Il ristorante panoramico dell'ultimo piano offre una vista incantevole ed un ambiente raffinato. La sala viene riservata ad occasioni speciali quali feste di nozze, cene di gala, riunioni conviviali. Ogni anno qui si celebra la tradizionale veglia di San Silvestro: dopo una cena prelibata ,la festa si sposta sulla terrazza dove gli ospiti possono brindare al nuovo anno, alla luce dei fuochi di mezzanotte, uno degli spettacoli più belli d' Italia.

Centro Congressi: Il centro congressi si compone di quattro sale che si articolano attorno ad un ampio disimpegno. Il foyer si divide in diverse aree funzionali: il banco ricevimento e informazioni riservato alle hostess di congresso, le aree espositive per l'allestimento degli stand, la restante superficie destinata all'attesa ed all'intrattenimento del pubblico convenuto ideale per organizzare coffee-breaks e brunches. Le unità spaziali così strutturate e dimensionate possono accogliere attività che interessano una consistente fascia del mercato dei congressi: convegni culturali, scientifici, commerciali, piccole riunioni d'affari, manifestazioni di vario genere. Con la scelta di caratteristiche morfologiche semplici e di arredi mobili si è conferita grande flessibilità all'ambiente, che si presta così ad essere adattato alle molteplici esigenze della domanda.

Location: The Hotel Catalunya is located in the center of Alghero which is the most significant turistic town of the Coral Coast. Today Alghero is the most coveted goal of northwest, and it is easily reacheable from any part of Italy and Europe. In fact the city is only 36 km away from Porto Torres' port station and 10km away from Fertilia's international airport. The hotel's nine-floors building is close to the old walls and dominates the old city town. Its strategic position allows you to reach in only a few minutes walking both the city town and the beautiful Lido's beach where the hotel has a private part for its guests.

Rooms: The 128 rooms are all furnished with elegance and comforts with the characteristic bright Catalan colours. There are 4 different types of rooms: twin room with two single beds; double room which has a sofa-bed for an extra guest; junior suite, with an average floor space of 30 m2, have also a balcony facing the harbour. Finally corner suite, the largest one, can host till 4 persons. It is composed of a night zone with a double bed and a little living room with a sofa-bed.

The Hotel: Hotel Catalunya, situated in the center of Alghero in a charming position, reopened in 1997 completely renewed. The interior and exterior architectural style draws inspiration from the Catalan tradition. The new distribution of the common areas has been completely changed thanks to the introduction of the conference centre with a capacity of 400 people.

In the ground-floor, around the reception desk, there are the wide hall, the american bar, the reading room and the four conference rooms. In the first floor you will find the buffet restaurant where guests can enjoy an international menu everyday. A charming restaurant, with a beautiful panoramic terrace, lies on the penthouse floor. It is used only for special occasions like weddings and banquets. The hotel has on the whole 128 rooms and suites of different typology. Catalunya offers also a 10 places garage.

Dining: The buffet restaurant located in the first floor has a nice view on the public gardens. It is composed of two separate rooms, with a total capacity of 250 seats. Here, guests can enjoy a nice international breakfast everyday with coffee or the, croissants, milk and cereals, fruit juices and fresh fruit, different types of yoghurt and jams. Room service is available under request. The lunch buffet offers different choices: a great variety of hors of d'oeuvre, fish or meat dishes, typical or international, numerous side-dishes, deserts made by our chef, all accompanied by vintage local wines.
The panoramic restaurant offers and a refined atmosphere besides a charming panoramic view. The room is used only for special occasions as weddings, gala dinners and banquets. Every year the New Year's eve party is celebrated in this restaurant; here you can watch one of the most spectacular fireworks show.

Conferences: The conference center has four different multipurpose rooms. The foyer is divided in various functional areas: the reception and the hostess information desk , the exposition space for the stands, and a large space where we often manage coffee-breaks and brunches. This kind of distribution allows the hotel to meet an important range of the demand for conference's organization: cultural, scientific and economic conferences, small business meetings and different kind of activities.
