Olbia Città: La porta della Costa Smeralda, sul golfo omonimo, già denominata "Terranova" è il punto d'incontro e di riferimento del traffico aereo e marittimo internazionale, per la sua vocazione turistica e commerciale. Di antiche origini, fondata dai Cartaginesi nel IV secolo a. C., ebbe importanza nel periodo imperiale ed in seguito fu sede del "Giudicato di Gallura" e sotto gli spagnoli feudo di varie famiglie, tra cui quella dei Borgia. E' famosissima per i centri commerciali, la vita notturna e i ristoranti con specialità di pesce.

Olbia Mare: A pochi chilometri dalla città sono ubicate le più famose spiagge della costa nord orientale della Sardegna: Pittulongu, dalla sabbia bianchissima, ad appena due chilometri circa da Olbia nord-est; le Saline, a circa tre chilometri da Olbia sud. Poco più lontane e molto esclusive le spiagge di Marinella, Bados, Sos Aranzos, Porto Istana e tante altre cale e calette di rara bellezza.

Olbia: Olbia is the port of the Costa Smeralda, on the Gulf of the same name. Formerly called "Terranova" it is a meeting and reference point for intenational air and sea traffic. Of ancient origin, it was foundated by the Carthaginians in the 4th century B.C. and grew in importance during the imperial age. It was later the seat of the "Judicata of Gallura" and under the Spaniards was the feud of various families, including the Borgias. It is renowned for its shopping centres, night-life and fish restaurants.

The Sea: Only a few kilometres from the town are the most famous beaches of Sardinia's north-east coast: Pittulongu, with its brilliant white sand, is just two kilometres away; slightly further away are the exclusive beaches of Marinella, Bados, Sos Aranzos, porto Istana and many other splendid little bays and coves.
