Dove Siamo: Lo Splendid Hotel La Torre si trova a Palermo, in quella parte della città nota come Mondello: un luogo a metà fra un improbabile ma autentico borgo marinaro, ed il fascino di una delle più belle spiagge del Mediterraneo, permeato ancora dai miti della “belle- epoque”. Eppure Mondello dista pochi minuti di bus dal centro della città: subito al di là dei grandi viali del paro della “Favorita”.
Sul lato opposto, un breve tratto autostradale, collega Mondello all’aeroporto cittadino di Punta Raisi.
Una posizione ideale quindi per chi voglia allo stesso tempo godere di un soggiorno in pieno relax, e visitare in tutta comodità il centro di Palermo ed i suoi straordinari monumenti.
Oltre il grande semicerchio della spiaggia e pochi metri al di là del borgo peschereccio sorge il piccolo promontorio roccioso, che ospita il complesso della “Torre”.
L’albergo occupa la porzione più piccola del promontorio, quella che guarda la baia; dall’altra parte invece e fino al limite della riserva marina di “Capo Gallo”, si stende il parco del complesso. Questo, da giugno a settembre, ospita uno dei più noti stabilimenti balneari siciliani, aperto al pubblico. Nella località è possibile praticare tutti gli Sports acquatici (Vela, Windsurf, Water- bike, Motoscafi, immersioni, ecc.).

I Servizi: A esclusiva disposizione degli ospiti dell’albergo, è invece il grande solarium attrezzato, realizzato proprio a ridosso della scogliera e direttamente raggiungibile dalle stanze degli ospiti.
Qui essi troveranno la bella piscina con acqua di mare ed il comodo accesso alla piattaforma realizzata proprio sugli scogli per i bagni in mare.

Una sapiente serie di ristrutturazioni hanno reso “La Torre”, un luogo dove dominano incontrastati la luce ed il mare. Infatti, dovunque si è reso possibile, ampie vetrate, hanno sostituito le pareti in muratura; cosicché non sembra più esservi soluzione di continuità fra le spaziose Hall e le terrazze, che si inseguono verso il mare fino a lambire gli scogli.
Sono proprio le terrazze, le protagoniste della bella stagione alla “Torre”. Qui trova posto il noto ristorante sugli scogli (fino a 200 posti” e le terrazze del suggestivo Piano-bar all’aperto.

Congressi: Annesso all’albergo, il nostro centro congressi si estende su una superficie di circa 700 mq . Un moderno sistema di pareti mobili fono- assorbenti rende le superfici delle sale adattabili di volta in volta ad ogni esigenza del Cliente. La luminosissima Hall del Bar e talune fra le sale, sono gli ambienti naturalmente predisposti ad ospitare rispettivamente, spazi espositivi, sale posters Show rooms.
Nella collezione delle attrezzature congressuali annoveriamo: cabine di traduzione simultanea (tre lingue), cabina di regia con impianto di registrazione ed amplificazione centralizzata.

Location: The Splendid Hotel “La Torre” is to be found in Mondello, a part of Palermo still wrapped in the myths of the “belle-epoque” and which is located between an unexpected traditional fishing village and one of the most beautiful and fascinating beaches of the Mediterranean. However, Mondello is just a few minutes bus ride away from the city centre on the other side of the wide avenues of “Favorita” park.
On the opposite side, a short stretch of motorway connects Mondello to the city airport of Punta Raisi.
It is therefore an ideal place for those who want to enjoy a completely relaxing holiday whilst still being conveniently close to the centre of Palermo and its extraordinary monuments.
The “La Torre” complex is situated after the large semi- circular beach, just a few metres on the other side of the fishing village on a little promontory of which the hotel occupies the smaller part, overlooking the bay with its park stretching out in the opposite diection as far as the “Capo Gallo” coastal reserve.
From June to September, this particularly noted Sicilian swimming area is open to the public.
Overthere you will find all aquatic sports (sailing, windsurfing, water- biking, motor-boating, diving, etc)

Services: A Hotel guests have exclusive use of the large, well-equipped sun terrace located immediately behind the cliffs.
Directly, from their rooms they can rich the beautiful sea water swimming pool and the purpose-built platforms down among the shores which is ideal for taking dips into the sea.
Clever restructuring has transformed “La Torre” into a place where light and sea come together.

In fact, wherever possible, brick walls have been replaced with generous windows with the effect that the spacious hall seems to run into the terraces which lead down one after the other to the coastal cliffs.
During the warmer summer months, these terraces are the main focal point at “La Torre”.
Here one can find the well-known restaurant (with seating for up to 200 people) situated on the rocks as well as the patios of the charming open-air piano bar.

Congresses: Annexed to the hotel, our congress centre covers an area of approximately 700 m² . A modern system of sound-absorbent mobile walls allows the rooms to be adapted to meet individual client needs. The particularly well-lit Hall of the Bar, as well as a number of other rooms, are used for respectively hosting exhibiting areas, poster displays and show rooms.
The congress equipment available includes: simultaneous translation booths (three languages), registration box with recording system and centralised amplification.
