La Villa: La Villa Casalecchi fu costruita in diversi periodi. Su un'antica fortificazione del Seicento fu edificata, ai primi del Settecento, il corpo più basso (attuale abitazione dei proprietari e sede del ricevimento al piano superiore;sede delle cucine, dei locali di servizio e delle cantine al piano inferiore).Il corpo più alto della villa invece, fu annesso dalla trisnonna Elvira quando la famiglia si ingrandì e i figli sposandosi "in casa" portavano le mogli e i mariti ad abitare qui. Nascono così al piano superiore le camere da letto tutte con un nome: la camera bella, la camera rossa, la camera gialla, la camera verde, il salottino giapponese, la camera diaccia, la camera delle balie. Nell'Ottocento la nonna Elvira provvide a dotare ogni stanza dei servizi igienici: brocca, bacinella e vaso da notte coordinati nel decoro della porcellana.

Le Camere: L'hotel Villa Casalecchi è nato in quest'antica dimora nel segno di un'ospitalità dal sapore familiare. Le camere sono 16 nella villa e tre appartamenti situati nelle vecchie scuderie. Tutte le camere da letto sono arredate con mobili antichi o in stile, provviste, inoltre, di frigo-bar, telefono, televisione con collegamento satellitare e aria condizionata.

Il Ristorante: Il ristorante della villa offre un menù à la carte di piatti tipici toscani, (insieme a menù creativi e fantasiosi ) unito a una discreta lista di vini delle più significative regioni italiane.
Il ristorante della villa offre un menu di piatti tipici toscani: dalla "fettunta", alla ribollita, o alla pappa col pomodoro, dipende dalla stagione, ma non finisce qui, ci sono anche le patate in ghiotta (rosmarino e aglio), universalmente conosciuta come bistecca alla fiorentina, il filetto tartufato in crosta e, per concludere torta millefoglie dello chef, la bavarese e la torta della nonna.

Altri Servizi: Si possono fare lunghe passeggiate a piedi nel parco della villa e, su richiesta anticipata, in bicicletta, in motorino o a cavallo a pochi chilometri di distanza. Piscina, campo da tennis e da bocce completano i servizi che la Villa Casalecchi offre ai propri ospiti.

The Villa: Villa Casalecchi was built in different periods. The construction of the lower part, situated on ancient foundations dating back to the sixteenth century, was commenced at the beginning of the seventeenth century. This contains, on one level, the present apartments of the owner and the reception area and the kitchens, storage cellars and service areas on the lower level. The higher part of the villa was added by the great great grandmother Elvira when the family expanded and the sons and daughters, having been married in the private chapel of the villa, brought their husbands or wives to live here. The bedrooms were therefore all on the upper level and each had a name: the beautiful bedroom; the red room, the yellow room, the green room, the Nipponese parlour, the cold room, the nannies room. In the eighteenth century Granma Elvira first installed facilities in each room: wash-basin and jug and bed pans all in elegant patterned ceramic!

Rooms: The hotel Villa Casalecchi was created in this ancient dwelling house with the intention of offering a warm, family-style hospitality. There are 16 rooms in the main building and 3 apartments in the former stables. All rooms are furnished with either original antique or antique-style furniture and have en-suite bathrooms, mini-bar, telephone, T.V. and satellite and air-conditioning.

The Restaurant: The restaurant of the hotel has an à la carte menu of traditional Tuscan specialities ( as well as a menu of original dishes created by the imaginative chef) and a comprehensive wine list covering the main wine- growing regions of Italy.
The restaurant of the Villa often offers a series of local specialities such as: "fettunta" and the soups such as "ribollita" or the "pappa con pomodoro", depending on the seasonal availability. Furthermore there are potatoes "glutton" style (with rosemary and garlic); the famous Florentine T-Bone steak; fillet steak with truffles in pastry and to finish off with: millefoglie pastry made by the chef or bavarese cream or the cream and pistachio nut cake known as Granma's cake.

Other Services: One can enjoy long walks in the grounds of the villa and bicycles, scooters or horses may be rented upon short notice. A swimming pool, tennis court and Italian bowling court are all available for the guests of Villa Casalecchi in the grounds.
