Posizione: Immerso in un parco di pini, lecci e ulivi, circondato da aiuole colorate e da prati verdi e soleggiati, questo alvbergo ha una posizione eccezionale.

La Storia: Situato sulle Catacombe di Santa Domitilla, questo magnifico castello fu proprietà della Famiglia Reale Savoia e poi del Cardinal de Merode "Ministro delle Armi" del Vaticano nello scorso secolo. Questa splendida tenuta, che all'inizio dell'800 fu dimora di Marianna di Savoia Duchessa di Chablais, figlia del Re di Sardegna Vittorio Amedeo III e sorella di Carlo Felice, in seguito è passata in eredità alla Famiglia de Villefranche che ne ha restaurato i casali, ha creato il giardino all'Italiana e l'attuale sistemazione del parco.

Le Stanze: Le stanze sono arredate con cura, con mobili di antiquariato, lampadari di vetro di Murano, tappezzerie fini. Tutte le camere sono differenti: così la Suite dei Fiori ha una deliziosa terrazza piena di fiori che si affaccia sul giardino, la Suite Domitilla ha un bellissimo letto genovese del'600, un'altra ha una vista spettacolare su Porta San Sebastiano; in ognuna comunque si respira un'atmosfera di residenza preparata a ricevere gli ospiti più colti e raffinati.
Le stanze sono dotate di aria condizionata, tv, minibar, asciugacapelli, room service.

Ricevimenti: Nel parco e nella veranda alla francese si possono preparare ricevimenti per matrimoni, lauree, comunioni o serate di gala, pranzi di lavoro o conferenze, con il piacere di avere in esclusiva tutte le parti comuni, sia interne che esterne.
La veranda è tutta in vetro e può essere usata tutto l'anno chiusa o aperta a seconda delle stagioni. La sensazioni sarà sempre quella di trovarsi in mezzo al giardino.
Il Parco, con il gazebo, la piscina, il giardino all'italiana ed i bellissimi alberi che lo ornano, presenta numerose opportunità per allestimento di coktail o pranzi seduti.
Nel giardino, la piscina riscaldata con idromassaggio, offre agli ospiti una possibilità di relax.

History: Situated near to the Catacombes of Santa Domitilla, this magnificent castle was property of the Italian Royal Family Savoia and then of Cardinal de Merode "Minister of the weapons" of the Vatican in the last century.
The splendid estate, to the beginning of 1800 was owned by Marianna di Savoia Duchess of Chablais, daughter of the King of Sardinia Vittorio Amedeo III and sister of Carlo Felice, later on it was given in inheritance to the Family de Villefranche that restored the country houses, and built up the Italian gardens.

The Rooms: The rooms are furnished with care, with antique furnishing, Murano glass chandeliers and fine tapestries.
All the rooms are different, the Suite of the Flowers has a delicious full terrace of flowers that faces on the garden, the Domitilla Suite has a rare genovese bed of the 17th. Century, another room has an impressive view on Porta San Sebastiano.
In every room however the atmosphere is of a residence open to receive the more cultured and refined guests.
The rooms are provided of air conditioning, Tv set, minibar, hair-dryer and room service.

Receptions: In the park and the french styled veranda receptions for weddings, university degree parties, communions, business meetings or evening galas can be prepared, with the pleasure of having exclusively all the inner and external common parts.
The veranda is made of glass, so it can be used open or closed all the year, depending on the seasons.
The feeling will be always to imagine yourself in the middle of the garden.
The Park, with the Gazebo, the swimming pool, the Italian styled garden and the beautiful trees all around, gives many opportunities to organize cocktail parties or seated lunches.
In the garden the heated swimming pool with whirlpool offers the hosts a real possibility of relax.
