Ubicazione: L’Albergo situato molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria di S. Storia: L'edificio, che risale al 13° secolo,fu sede di un convento durante il rinascimento e conserva ancora intatte varie testimonianze delle sue antiche origini quali le perfette volte a sesto acuto e la colonna di stile romanico che contraddistinguono le sale dove viene servita la prima colazione, come i soffitti a travi che caratterizzano la maggior parte delle camere. Inoltre al piano terra si può ammirare uno stupendo manufatto in ceramica, in stile wedgwood: “il grande Vaso in Ceramica”, prodotto dalla manifattura Salvini di Firenze alla fine dell'800.

Location: The hotel is located close to the train station of "Santa Maria Novella", and to the congress and exbitions center, just a few steps far from the Cathredal and from all the museums and main monuments. Behind it You can find the "Cappelle Medicee" and the "San Lorenzo Market "with the "San Lorenzo Basilica".

History: The building, dated back to the XIIIth Century,used to be a Monastery and still keeps some untouched testimonies of the historical period: the perfect vaults and the rock romanic style pillar that characterize the room where buffet breakfast is served, or the coffered ceiling with wood beams in most of the rooms. At the ground floor there is the “Big Ceramic Pot” that almost reaches the ceiling, produced at the end of the XIX century, by “Manifattura Salvini” from Florence at 1898.
