La famiglia Carrain gestisce dal 1924 le attività di ristorante e di hotel ed è co-fondatrice dell'Associazione Veneziana Albergatori.

Negli anni vi hanno soggiornato pittori, scultori e famosi personaggi della cultura mondiale come –tra gli altri– Matisse, Braque, Arp, Vedova, Santomaso, Guttuso.
Testimoniano il loro passaggio le molte opere esposte nell'hotel e nel ristorante.

La posizione centralissima ed i servizi offerti ne fanno un riferimento importante per la clientela italiana ed internazionale che vuole vivere Venezia e la sua cultura in ogni periodo dell’anno.

Nel 1998 sono iniziati i restauri che hanno recuperato la parte del palazzo seicentesco dedicata all'hotel e al ristorante. I lavori di restauro delle parti storiche sono stati eseguiti -nel pieno rispetto delle normative europee- evidenziando i preziosi soffitti con travi a vista arricchiti da fregi del '600 sapientemente recuperati da un maestro decoratore.
Attenzione particolare meritano le mansarde all'ultimo piano, dalle quali la vista sui tetti veneziani è straordinaria. Le sale colazioni sono piacevolmente adornate da quadri, pannelli e disegni dei maestri del Fronte Nuovo delle Arti che nacque proprio in queste sale negli anni '50.

Le Camere: 57 camere: suite, junior, doppie e singole per soddisfare le diverse esigenze della clientela; sono arredate in stile Biedermaier, insonorizzate e dotate di tutti i comfort.
Nel palazzo dove si sviluppa l'hotel si trovano anche due dei tre ristoranti a disposizione dei clienti dell'hotel. Il servizio in camera è attivo dalla mattina alle 08 a.m. alle 12 p.m..

Il check-in è possibile anche di notte, la Reception è attiva 24 ore su 24. L'approdo privato consente ai clienti di arrivare direttamente in hotel con il taxi acqueo passando sotto il Ponte dei Sospiri.

Ristorante All'Angelo: E’ il ristorante principale e fa capo all’hotel. Locale rinomato, per la sua cucina internazionale e tipica e per la sua importante collezione di quadri: da Vedova a Sironi, da Santomaso a Pizzinato, da Mirò a Braque: la pittura dei maestri del '900, prospettiva singolare per il vostro pranzo....

Può ospitare 250 persone nelle salette più tranquille, all'interno oppure nella parte sulla Calle dove si può pranzare partecipando al tipico andirivieni veneziano.

Inoltre il nostro banqueting mette a disposizione tre sale al primo piano con capienze da 50 a 90 posti per un totale di 200 posti a sedere.

Oltre alla scelta á la carte è possibile avere dei menù personalizzati attraverso il nostro Business- Office.

Since 1924 the Carrain’s family manages its restaurants and hotel and has contributed to the foundation of the Venetian Hotel-keepers Association.

As years go by, painters, sculptors and famuous people of the interantional culture such as Matisse, Braque, Arp, Vedova, Santomaso, Guttuso, stayed at hotel all’Angelo.
The many works of art exposed in the hotel and restaurant testify their stay.

Its very central position and the service offered to the clients make the hotel an attractive place for the Italian clients who want to enjoy Venice and its culture in every period of the year.

In 1998 the portion of the XVII century building which includes the restaurant and the hotel, has been taken under restoration in accordance with the European rules for the repair of the historic patrimony. The precious wooden-beam ceiling, enriched by XVII century ornaments, has been valorised by a master of decorations.
Particular attention merits the loaf on the upper floor from which the view on the Venetian roofs is fantastic. The breakfast rooms are decorated with paintings, pictures and draws by the masters of the Fronte Nuovo delle Arti which was born in these rooms in the 50s.

The Rooms: 57 rooms: suite, junior, double and single-rooms to satisfy the different exigencies of the clients. They are furnished in the Biedermaier style, provided with deadening and any other comfort.
The building where the hotel has been constructed includes also two of the three restaurants at the clients ‘ disposal..

The room service can be requested from 8 a.m. till 12 p.m..

The chek-in service is possible also at night, the reception is open 24 hours a day.

The private landing-place permits the clients to reach directly the hotel by a taxi boat which drive under the Bridge of Sighs.

Our business centre and travel agency are located in front of the hotel. They are at the clients’ disposal to satisfy their needs.


All'Angelo Restaurant: It is the main restaurant and is linked with the organisation of the hotel. It is famous for its international and typical cooking. Moreover, it is well- known for its important collection of pictures from Vedova to Sironi, from Santomaso to Pizzinato, from Mirò to Braque: while eating, the painting of the x century offer a particular perspective.

The restaurant can give hospitality to 250 people in the quieter small rooms or in the main rooms inside or in that part of the restaurant in the calle, where the clients sitting on the table can take part to the typical Venetian coming and going.

Our banqueting service disposes of three rooms at the first floor. Each one counts from 50 to 90 seats for a total of 200 seats.

Clients can eat à la carte or ask for a personal menu at our business office.
