L’Hotel Vasari nasce dalla ristrutturazione di un antico
monastero del XVI secolo avvenuta grazie al famoso poeta
francese Alfonse De Lamartine nel XIX secolo, che acquistò
e abitò il palazzo prima di venderlo alla nobile famiglia
Strozzi.
Totalmente rinnovato nel 1993 l’Hotel Vasari conserva
ancora oggi la magia del passato ammirabile nei vivacissimi
affreschi d’epoca sui soffitti delle sale principali e
nell’accogliente sala delle colazioni con il camino in
pietra e il soffitto a volte.

Vasari Hotel is located in a strategic and enviable
position: in a very quite area in the heart of the
historical and cultural center of Florence, at just 300 Mt.
from the Duomo, nearby the most important congress and
exhibition buildings and inside the commercial area that
can transform the stay of the guests into an occasion to
live Florence at its best.
In the 16th century the Hotel Vasari was an ancient
monastery. Then it was converted in a gorgeous mansion in
the 19th century by the famous French poet Alfonse De
Lamartine, who purchased it and lived there before selling
it to the noble Strozzi’s family.
Completely renovated in the 1993 in the Hotel Vasari you
can still admire coloured and ancient frescoes on the
ceilings of the main halls and an original stone fire-place
in the charming breakfast room.
