Ubicazione: L'Hotel Ristorante "il Gourmet" è situato a ridosso delle Mura Venete di S. Vigilio, a poche centinaia di metri dal Centro Storico di Città Alta.
La sua incantevole posizione immersa nel verde dei Colli di Bergamo Alta, gli conferisce un'atmosfera di pace e relax. Munito di ampio parcheggio interno privato (non custodito), è in grado di assicurare al Cliente qualsiasi tipo di servizio e di confort.

Storia: La costruzione risale al '700 come residenza patriarcale; agli inizi del '900 subì la sua prima trasformazione in Albergo con Stallo per corrieri e mercanti che transitavano a Bergamo con le loro merci. La struttura attuale viene ricavata con una completa ristrutturazione avvenuta agli inizi degli anni 80.

Camere: L'Hotel "il Gourmet" è dotato complessivamente di 10 camere ed un appartamento. Le camere, disposte su due piani e nella maggior parte con vista panoramica, si suddividono in 9 doppie e 1 singola.
L'appartamento, completamente indipendente, è formato da 2 camere doppie, una sala ed un terrazzo (solarium) a libero uso del Cliente. Tutti i locali sono dotati di aria condizionata e riscaldamento regolabili singolarmente, frigo bar, TV satellite e telefono.

Ristorante: Il Ristorante "il Gourmet", situato sulla balconata principale del complesso, è formato essenzialmente da 3 sale interne e 2 terrazze esterne con pergolato.

"il Gourmet" per la sua cucina raffinata è stato ed è tuttora uno dei maggiori esponenti della creatività gastronomica bergamasca in Italia. L'ampia scelta di piatti tipici bergamaschi e mediterranei, curata dallo Chef Stefano, è in grado di soddisfare qualsiasi tipo di palato. La cantina, curata personalmente dai Patron Aldo Beretta e Giovanni Cornacchia, offre le migliori "etichette" dei prodotti italiani ed esteri. Da non dimenticare l'ampia e ricercata raccolta di grappe e whisky.

Location: The Hotel and Restaurant "il Gourmet" can be found at the back of the ancient Venetian walls of S. Vigilio, a few hundred metres from the Historical Centre of the Old City (Città Alta).
Completely surrounded by the green hills of High Bergamo, its enchanting position makes your stay one of peace and relaxation. It has an internal private car park (unguarded) and is able to guarantee its clients every type of assistance or comfort.

History: The building dates back to the Eighteenth Century when it was a patriarchal mansion; then at the beginning of the Twentieth Century it underwent its first transformation into a Coach Inn for couriers and merchants travelling through Bergamo with their wares. The present structure has evolved from a re-structuring which took place at the beginning of the 1980s.

Rooms: The Hotel "il Gourmet" has ten rooms and one suite in all. The rooms, on two floors, have a magnificent view and are sub- divided into 9 double and a single.
The suite is completely autonomous with two double rooms, a dining area and a terrace (solarium) which can be freely used by the Client. All the rooms are air conditioned and heated independently, they have a drinks bar, satellite TV and telephone.

Restaurant: The Restaurant "il Gourmet" can be found on the main balcony of the premises and it is basically made up of three internal dining halls and two outdoor terraces with pergola.

"il Gourmet" is recognised as being one of the foremost representatives of the creative Bergamasco cuisine in Italy due to its refined plates. The vast choice of typical Bergamasco and Mediterranean dishes, overseen by the Chef Stefano, are capable of satisfying every appetite. The wine cellar, personally overseen by the owners Aldo Beretta and Giovanni Cornacchia, offers the best "wines" amongst both Italian products and foreign ones. Last but not least we should remember the extensive and appreciated collection of grappas and whiskeys.
