L'Agriturismo Poggio Istiano è situato sulla sommità di una collina al centro del Parco Artistico e Naturale della Val d’Orcia. L’Agriturismo Poggio Istiano offre all’ospite il piacere di immergersi in un’atmosfera di naturale ospitalità, in un ambiente perfettamente recuperato. Ogni angolo è curato nei particolari e l'arredamento è rigorosamente composto da vecchi mobili della tradizione contadina toscana. I particolari, le piccole rifiniture ne fanno un ambiente esclusivo. Le stoffe, le composizioni di fiori secchi e i quadri, e vecchi attrezzi contadini sulle pareti decorano e personalizzano ogni ambiente. A Poggio Istiano basta aprire una finestra per avere di fronte un quadro, un paesaggio variegato, coltivato dall’uomo e colorato dalla natura. Sono stati ricavati tre appartamenti ampi e confortevoli dotati di telefono, TV Satellitare, caminetto e riscaldamento autonomo.

The farmhouse is well appointed with typical pieces from the old Tuscan peasant tradition.Three large apartments are available and each has telephone, satellite TV, self-controlled heating and a fireplace. Each room is thoughtfully furnished with different tapestry, dry flower compositions and paintings, and even the old farming tools hanging on the walls give a personal touch. Just open the window and a natural painting is right there before your eyes: a beautiful landscape grown by man and coloured by nature.

From the North: Autostrada A1 MILANO-ROMA; exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA. Take the Superstrada (blue road signs) direction SIENA; exit SIENA SOUTH; then take S.S.2 CASSIA towards ROMA until you arrive at km 177.250.
From the South: Autostrada A1 ROMA-MILANO; exit at CHIUSI-CHIANCIANO TERME. Continue in the direction of CHIANCIANO TERME until passing S.P.40. Upon reaching S.S.2 CASSIA continue in the direction of SIENA untile arrivino at km 177.250.
