Nascosto tra le Crete Senesi, il grazioso borgo testimonia come il passato, conservato con amorevole rispetto, possa vivere nel presente e fornire ispirazione per il futuro. Soggiornare a Lucignanello Bandini, immergersi in un paesaggio di dolci colli punteggiati qua e là da un solitario cipresso significa ritrovare la quiete interiore che deriva dal rinnovato contatto con attività i cui ritmi rispecchiano quelli del mutarsi delle stagioni. L'arredamento delle case è curato e studiato nei minimi particolari. In ognuna delle cinque case del Borgo nonché nell'indipendente Casale Sarageto sono stati creati ambienti in cui gli spazi e i materiali che lo contengono fanno da complemento alla meraviglia delle luci e le forme dell'esterno: i toni chiari del travertino locale, il rosso invitante del cotto, il legno segnato dalle stagioni, decori murali a tempera, delle rare ceramiche artigianali, la canapa, la tela stampata a disegni vivaci, il cotone tessuto a motivi jacquard.

Da Sud (Roma): Prendere la A1 direzione Firenze. Uscire a Valdichiana, fuori dal casello girare a destra e seguire le indicazioni per Siena. Uscire a Sinalunga e seguire le indicazioni per Trequanda, (la strada passa accanto a Sinalunga che rimane sulla destra) alla fine del paese trovate un incrocio. Proseguire a destra verso TREQUANDA e SAN GIOVANNI D’ASSO. Arrivati a San Giovanni d’Asso proseguire sulla sinistra per Torrenieri e dopo pochi km troverete sulla sinistra un piccolo cartello blu con scritto LUCIGNANO D’ASSO. Girare quindi a sinistra, proseguire lungo la strada sterrata per circa due km. Arrivati in cima alla salita girare a destra e proseguire per qualche decina di metri. La reception è sotto il primo arco che incontrate.
Da Nord(FIRENZE): Se venite da Firenze centro andate verso Porta Romana poi Firenze Certosa e prendere la superstrada per Siena. Se siete in autostrada A1 direzione Sud uscire a Firenze Certosa e prendere la superstrada per Siena. Arrivati a Siena uscire a Siena Sud e prendere la Cassia direzione Roma. Uscire a Torrenieri e procedere in direzione di San Giovanni d’Asso. Dopo pochi km troverete sulla destra un piccolo cartello blu con scritto LUCIGNANO D’ASSO. Girare quindi a destra, proseguire lungo la strada sterrata per circa due km. Arrivati in cima alla salita girare a destra e proseguire per qualche decina di metri. La reception è sotto il primo arco che incontrate. (Alternativamente e’ possibile proseguire in autostrada fino all’uscita VALDICHIANA e seguire le indicazioni del primo paragrafo.)

The historical residence Lucignanello Bandini is situated in the southernmost tip of Tuscany, in the tiny village of Lucignano d’Asso, an half hour’s drive from Siena. The hamlet consists of two stony roads, two churches, a castle, a quaint little store and a number of smaller houses that look out across rolling fields and patches of woodland towards the reassuring outline of Mount Amiata, a visual point of reference for many miles around. With finest furnishings, each home offers a beautifully balanced mixture of texture and tone: the pale-beige of local travertine, the warm hues of terracotta, seasoned wood, trompe-l'oeil motifs, unusual hand-painted ceramics, hessian, canvans, pale jacquard textiles and bright printed cottons.

Where we are:
From Rome: Take the A1 towards Florence. Exit at Valdichiana. Turn right and take the freeway towards Siena. Exit at SINALUNGA. Go around the village without actually entering it. Follow sign to TREQUANDA - SAN GIOVANNI D'ASSO. You will see TREQUANDA Castle in front of you. Pass by and go towards MONTISI. Pass under the castle of this village and follow the sign SAN GIOVANNI D'ASSO. When you are just at the foot of this castle, you will see a stop sign. Turn left and drive for approx. 2 km direction TORRENIERI-MONTALCINO. You will notice on the left side the sign "LUCIGNANO d'ASSO". Take this country road that comes up, up to the very top of the hill which you will recognise (you will see a long low house with two arches in the middle). You will also see the sign "P" for parking. Walk towards the Palace where below the big arch with cote of arms you will see a loggia that leads to the reception.
From Northern Italy, Florence or Pisa airport: If you are coming from the center of Florence go to Porta Romana and then proceed to Firenze Certosa. If you are driving through the motorway A1 exit directly at Firenze Certosa and take the freeway Florence-Siena. Exit at Siena Sud (South) and take the Cassia road towards Rome. Through this old Roman road you will pass many small villages but when you reach Torrenieri you have to exit and follow the sign to S. Giovanni d'Asso. After about 5 km there is a small sign indicating Lucignano d'Asso on the right. You take this small white road up to the very top of the hill where you will see a long low house, turn right and you will se an arch in the middle of the road. You will also see the sign "P" for parking your car, once downloaded your luggage. Our reception is on the loggia just under the arch.
