Vista spettacolare delle colline senesi, albe e tramonti mozzafiato, Montalcino e Siena.  Benvenuti al Podere Salicotto da Silvia e Paolo, in un ambiente intimo e raccolto, in posizione strategica...  Il Podere Salicotto, a soli 3 km dall'antico borgo di Buonconvento, è immerso in un paesaggio di rara bellezza, in cima a una collina,  di quelle belle colline tipiche delle Crete Senesi, gentili e rotonde, con vista mozzafiato a 360°. La natura ha una potenza straordinaria, è il massimo che si possa desiderare.
Amiamo il frinire delle cicale e il soffio potente del maestrale, l'unica colonna sonora qui è il canto degli uccellini. 'The Sound of Silence', questo sconosciuto. A volte struggente a volte assordante. Ascoltarlo è talmente raro da sembrare un miracolo.  E' un casale rurale di inizio 800 e ristrutturato nel 2004 nel rispetto delle sue caratteristiche originarie. Il podere è costituito dalla casa principale, in parte abitazione dei proprietari Silvia e Paolo e in parte destinata all'ospitalità turistica e da un fienile.  Silvia parla inglese e tedesco con naturalezza e accoglie gli ospiti con la spontaneità di chi riceve amici in casa propria in un ambiente molto accogliente, a dimensione familiare, in un'atmosfera informale e rilassata. Il servizio al cliente è caloroso e discreto, attento e accurato.  Nella casa principale abbiamo 6 Junior Suites molto accoglienti ed arredate con gusto, tutte con confortevole bagno privato e aria condizionata.
E' disponibile inoltre una Superior Suite al piano alto dell’ex fienile, con una vista superba.  Potete oziare in un ambiente sereno, appisolarvi sul prato, assaporare un buon calice di vino e una bruschetta, godervi il tramonto, immersi nei colori e nei profumi della natura, il fresco accanto alla piscina.... E dimenticare per un po' gli impegni che verranno.  Ci fa piacere fornirvi le informazioni che desiderate sulle sagre, i mercatini, gli spettacoli, i concerti e gli eventi organizzati nella provincia e nella città di Siena, o suggerirvi splendidi itinerari alla scoperta di borghi antichi, castelli e monasteri, colline e boschi, vigne e campi coltivati.

da nord :
Uscita dall’A1 Firenze Impruneta, imboccate subito a destra la superstrada Siena 4 corsie e uscite a SIENA SUD per la Cassia SS2 fino a Buonconvento. Quando vedete il cartello BUONCONVENTO, siete ancora in mezzo alla campagna. Proseguite e dopo il primo benzinaio girate alla seconda a sinistra (non alla prima!!) in direzione S.Giovanni d’Asso. Siamo a circa 2 km: dopo la seconda salita siamo il secondo podere a destra.

da sud :
Uscita dall’ A1 Chiusi-Chianciano in direzione Montepulciano, seguite poi le indicazioni per Pienza, S.Quirico d’Orcia e Buonconvento. Quando vedete il cartello BUONCONVENTO, dopo il primo benzinaio a destra (SHELL), girate alla prima a destra (direzione S.Giovanni d’Asso). Siamo a circa 2 km: dopo la seconda salita siamo il secondo podere a destra.

from the North:
From the A1 motorway take exit signed ‘Firenze Impruneta’, as soon as you exit take the ‘superstrada Siena’ immediately on the right (this is a 4 lane road). Exit at ‘SIENA SUD’ following signs for ‘Cassia SS2’, this will take you to Buonconvento. When you see the sign ‘BUONCONVENTO’, you will still be in the middle of the countryside. Continue along this road and when you see the 1st petrol station (no name yet), take the 2nd turn on the left (NOT the 1st) soon after, the road is signposted for ‘S.Giovanni d’Asso’. After circa 2 km and two hills, you have arrived: we are the second farm on the right.

from the South:
From the A1 motorway take exit signed ‘Chiusi-Chianciano’ heading towards Montepulciano. Follow the signs for Pienza, S.Quirico d’Orcia and Buonconvento. When you see the sign BUONCONVENTO, soon after the 1st petrol station on your right (SHELL), take the 1st right turn (towards S.Giovanni d’Asso). After circa 2 km and two hills, you have arrived: we are the second farm on the right.
