The hotel has been famous in the area since its a stablishment in the early 1900's and has been expanded and upgraded over the years to meet the demands of its guest. An increasing number of guest, both Italian and foreign, come to the stay and admire the natural beauty of this tranquil valley.

The hotel is conveniently situated close to the ski stations of Lurisia Terme (which also has a spa), Artesina, Prato Nevoso and monte Pigna. All of these are fully equipped ski resorts with ski-lifts ski hire and qualified instructors available during the ski season. the hotel provides a shuttle bus to take guest to Lurisia Terme and the ski slopes during the winter season.
