Nei primi anni 50 un giovane Walser, dopo aver imparato l'arte culinaria nei grandi alberghi nazionali ed esteri ed aver allietato i palati di grandi personaggi dello spettacolo e della politica di quel tempo, decise di tornare ad Alagna per avviare un'attività in proprio.

Nacque così una piccola pensione, al centro di Alagna, con 8 camere e due salette ristorante.

Viene costruito nel 1972, all'arrivo della pista di discesa, l'attuale albergo con 14 camere ed una sala ristorante di 60 coperti.

Passata nelle mani del figlio l'attività, l'albergo è stato interamente ristrutturato per affrontare le nuove esigenze dei clienti.

Le camere sono con balcone e tutti i comfort, solo l'arte culinaria è rimasta tradizionale e casalinga.

In the early 1950’s, a young Walser, after learning the culinary art in great national and foreign hotels and after pleasing the palates of well-known personages of show business and politics of the period, decided to return to Alagna to start up his own business.

This is how a small pension was born in the center of the town; it had 8 rooms and two small restaurant dining rooms.

In 1972, at the arrival point of the descent track, the present hotel was built, with 14 rooms and a dining hall with 60 places.

The activity then passed to the hands of his son, who a few years ago completely renewed the structure to satisfy the new needs of his customers.

The rooms are fitted with all comforts and they all have balconies. Only the art of cooking has remained traditional and homey.
