L'Hotel:
L'Hotel ha conservato nella parte originale della Villa
l'eleganza degli interni arredati con mobili, lampadari,
quadri, soffitti, pavimenti e decori di fine '800 e
inizio '900 che creano un'atmosfera particolarmente
accogliente e suggestiva.
Dipendenza "Villa
Pineta": L'Hotel dispone anche della
Dipendenza "Villa Pineta", edificio a 2 piani senza
ascensore, situata a soli 20 metri all'interno del proprio
parco.Tutte le camere sono dotate di bagno o doccia, phon,
TV-satellite, telefono, minibar, cassaforte.
Gli ospiti della Dipendenza usufruiscono dei servizi di
colazione e bar dell'Hotel.
Pregio importante dell'albergo è il suo parco ove splendide
fioriture di camelie, magnolie, azalee, rododendri, rose e
ortensie si alternano nelle varie stagioni per la gioia
degli amanti della natura.

The hotel is situated in Stresa on Lake Maggiore, in a
slightly elevated panoramic position, only 220 yards from
the centre, 330 yards from the lakeside promenade,
(embarkation point for the Borromean Islands), 200 yards
from Congress House, 550 yards from the railway-station
(Milan-Domodossola), 1100 yards from the zoological garden
of Villa Pallavicino, 1300 yards from the cablecar to
the "Alpinia Garden" and the Mottarone, 3 miles from the
golf club "Des Iles Borromées", 4 miles from "Alpino" golf
club in Gignese, 2,5 miles from the motorway-exit at
Carpugnino (A26, Genoa-Voltri/Gravellona Toce), 34 miles
from Ascona-Locarno (CH), 34 miles from Milan Malpensa
International Airport, 60 miles from the Simplon-pass, 67

Originally a period private villa set in its own beautiful
grounds, it was transformed into a hotel in 1952 and
subsequently enlarged and refurbished.

The Hotel:
Much of the elegance of the beginning of the last century
has been preserved in the hotel's furniture, chandeliers,
ceilings and floors, along with many paintings, all adding
to a feeling of comfort and charm.
"Villa
Pineta": The hotel also has an annexe, the Villa
Pineta, a 2-storey building, but with no lift, situated
within the hotel gardens and only 20 m from the main hotel.
All rooms have full private facilities (bath or shower),
hair dryer, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe.
Guests in the annexe use the hotel facilities for buffet
breakfast and bar service.
The beautiful gardens of camellias, magnolias,
rhododendrons, roses, hydrangeas, in which both buildings
are set, produce a blaze of seasonal colour.
They also offer both sun and shade in which to
relax.
