Le isole Eolie le troviamo in provincia di Messina, si possono raggiungere tutto l’anno in aliscafo dai porti di: Milazzo (45 min), Messina (1 ora e 10 min) e Reggio Calabria (2 ore) In nave traghetto da: Milazzo (1 ora e 45 min) e Napoli (14 ore viaggio notturno) In estate, inoltre, esiste anche un collegamento a mezzo aliscafo dai porti di: Palermo (5 ore e 30 min) Napoli (6 ore) Cefalù (3 ore e 30 min) IN AUTO: chi proviene dal nord Italia, può imbarcare l’auto sui traghetti da Napoli diretti a Catania (11 ore – viaggio notturno); si prosegue in autostrada direzione Milazzo-porto. (1 ora e 20 min) Da Milazzo porto a Vulcano in nave (1 ora e 45 min) IN AEREO: da Catania aeroporto, taxi o minibus fino a Milazzo porto (1 ora e 20 min). Traversata in nave (1 ora e 45 min) o aliscafo (45 min) per Vulcano. Da Palermo aeroporto, taxi o minibus fino a Palermo Porto o Cefalù porto. Traversata in aliscafo fino a Vulcano (5 ore e 30 min). (da Palermo e Cefalù partono solo aliscafi). Da Reggio Calabria aeroporto taxi o minibus fino al porto da dove partono corse giornaliere di aliscafi tutto l’anno (2 ore circa) IN TRENO: Treni diretti a Milazzo, da tutte le principali città d’Italia: Roma, Milano, Napoli, Venezia, Torino, Palermo e Messina. The hotel’s stunning location boasts views over the entire Aeolian Islands; Lipari, the largest of the islands (located at just five minutes by hydrofoil from the hotel) with its majestic Faraglioni, and the islands of Salina, Stromboli, Panarea, Alicudi and Filicudi, all within easy access by hydrofoil.

BY AIR - Catania airport, Sicily, is the nearest airport to the Aeolian Islands. British airways offer direct flights from London Gatwick to Catania all year round. Alitalia operate non-direct flights from UK airports to Catania airport all year round (coach transfer to Milazzo port, approx 1 hour 30 mins). Easyjet operate from London Gatwick to Palermo airport from June - October 2008 (coach transfer to Milazzo port approx 3 hours). FERRY/HYDROFOIL - Milazzo port is the nearest port to the Aeolian Islands with the most hydrofoil and ferry connections (journey time hydrofoil approx 45 mins, ferry approx 1h 45 mins, however in high season there are connections from Palermo port to the Aeolian Islands. From Naples Mergellina/Naples Beverello port there are direct hydrofoil transfers in the summer months(Ustica Lines; end of June – September, Snav; June, week-ends only, July - September, Alilauro; June - September ; ) journey time approx 6 hours. From Naples Beverello there are direct Ferries to the Aeolian Islands all year round (Siremar and Medmar). From Reggio Calabria airport (southern Italy) buses/taxis can be taken to the port where there are hydrofoil crossings all year round (2 per day in the winter months and more frequently in the summer months, as well as a supplementary service by "Usticalines").
