Le quattro camere della Locanda, al primo piano del palazzo, sono caratterizzate da arredi ricercati ed unici, diversi per ogni stanza, parte della nostra storia familiare o da noi disegnati e commissionati ad artigiani locali. Personalizzate in ogni dettaglio, hanno ampie finestre con una vista unica sulla campagna toscana e sui tetti di Montepulciano.Tutte con letto matrimoniale, hanno pavimentazione in parquet, aria condizionata/riscaldamento a controllo individuale, minibar, cassaforte, TV a schermo piatto, lettore DVD, telefono, connessione Internet, bagno privato con doccia, asciugacapelli, e linea cortesia di Hermès.
La grande sala al piano terra, con volte a crociera, è riservata alle colazioni e ospita il salotto, una ricca biblioteca e una selezione di CD e film in DVD, a disposizione degli ospiti. Poiché potrebbe accadervi, durante il soggiorno nella Locanda, di dimenticare il resto del mondo, sarà a vostra disposizione, al piano delle stanze, un punto Internet gratuito. Potrete comodamente arrivare con la vostra auto sino all’ingresso della residenza, dove un parcheggio riservato è disponibile su richiesta.

LA LOCANDA DI SAN FRANCESCO Above the historical centre of Montepulciano sits a magnificent palazzo from the 14th century, recently restored to its ancient splendour and looking onto one of the most beautiful squares in town, Piazza San Francesco, and out across the Val D’Orcia. This site, so full of history and with unparalleled views onto the valleys of Chiana and D’Orcia, has become La Locanda di San Francesco, an exclusive retreat to enjoy the real Tuscany.
The unique atmosphere of La Locanda is created by the antique furnishings, the exclusivity of just four rooms and the breathtaking views across the two valleys and the lakes of Trasimeno, Chiusi and Montepulciano.
The incomparable position, at the sunniest and highest point of the town, ensures light-filled rooms even on winter days. The owners are proud to welcome you to La Locanda’s atmosphere of comfort and hospitality, for a holiday immersed in emblematic Tuscan panoramas, but at the heart of the historical centre of Montepulciano, just a few steps from Piazza Grande.
The rooms are situated on the first floor and are fitted with independent air conditioning, bar fridge, 21” LCD satellite TV, telephone, DVD player and Internet connection. Beds are queen or king size and each room is personalised with sophisticated and exclusive furnishings. High quality parquet floors and elegant fabrics add to the atmosphere.“La stanza segreta”, discovered during restoration, is a cosy evocative sitting room with views onto the Val D’Orcia and two stone walls that once formed part of the bell tower of the Church of San Francesco. It now completes the suite.
Most of the roomy bathrooms have large windows with the same views that can be admired from the rooms. They feature large shower stalls (1.8 m x 1 m), are equipped with hair dryers and universal power sockets with courtesy Hermès toiletries.
The large reception room situated on the ground floor features a cross vaulted ceiling, sitting room, substantial library, for guest enjoyment and is used for guest breakfasts.As you may forget about the rest of the world during your stay, at La Locanda there is a free internet connection point on the accommodations floor.You can conveniently drive right to the entrance of the palazzo.
