Gestiamo con cura e professionalità la Vostra "casa" (consideriamo così il nostro albergo), con la collaborazione del nostro staff, per poter offrire ai nostri ospiti una gradevole e tranquilla atmosfera familiare con un trattamento a misura di persona. Quest'anno l'Hotel Talao festeggia il suo 30° compleanno. Siamo già alla seconda generazione della famiglia Leo che, avvalendosi dell'esperienza acquisita negli anni, gestisce l'attività con la passione e la voglia di soddisfare le esigenze di tutti i nostri ospiti. La struttura è situata direttamente su un'ampia spiaggia privata, nel centro di Scalea. Scalea è uno dei principali centri balneari dell'alto Tirreno Cosentino, con ampie spiagge e scogliera con suggestive grotte marine.

La Struttura: Lo staff della reception è a vostra disposizione 24 ore su 24 per qualsiasi informazione: sulla struttura, i servizi di trasporto e le notizie utili per il vostro soggiorno; inoltre saremo lieti di consigliarvi e informarvi su eventi locali, escursioni, sport e tempo libero. Presso il banco sono disponibili: mappe di Scalea, materiale informativo sulle zone circostanti, le escursioni possibili da effettuare con agenzie locali o "fai da te", offerte di svago, programmi di manifestazioni culturali e religiose organizzate a Scalea e nei paesi limitrofi.

Entrando nell'Hotel troverete un accogliente Hall con il Bar e tre Terrazze che si affacciano: sul mare, sul Corso principale di Scalea, sulla Torre Talao con il Borgo Antico.

Ristorante: La sala ristorante da poco tempo rinnovata, offre un ambiente elegante e accogliente per mettervi a vostro agio e per gustare al meglio i piatti preparati con cura dai nostri Chef e dalla nostra pasticcera. Ogni giorni lo staff della cucina vi delizierà con piatti tipici della cucina calabrese, mediterranea, specialità italiane e pietanze internazionali. Durante i pasti principali sarà a vostra disposizione un buffet di insalate. Il Menù di pranzo e cena consente la scelta di 3 primi, 4 secondi (di cui 1 sempre di pesce), e 2 desserts. Per chi ha problemi di salute (es.allergie), scelte religiose o per i vegetariani i nostri collaboratori sono sempre a vostra disposizione. Il tutto supervisionato dai proprietari che curano con particolare attenzionela scelta delle materie prime ed i menù che vi verranno offerti.
Lasciatevi tentare: da una romantica cena a lume di candela, servita sulla piscina o sulla terrazza vista mare, oppure per festeggiare una ricorrenza importante con un pranzo a base di pesce locale finendo con una deliziosa torta confezionata dalla nostra pasticcera. La direzione ogni 15 giorni organizza un pranzo tipico in campagna con la dimostrazione della preparazione dei famosi "fusilli scaleoti", e per finire l'assaggio del nostro liquore al "Cedro". Una volta alla settimana pizza cotta nel tradizionale forno a legna, con maestria dal nostro Chef Aldo.
Il ristorante dell'Hotel Talao famoso in tutta la zona è anche utilizzato per eleganti banchetti di matrimoni e per altre liete ricorrenze o per pranzi di lavoro.

Meetings: L'Hotel dispone di 2 SALE MEETINGS da 8 fino a 100 persone. Organizziamo sfiziosi coffee-break, deliziosi pranzi di lavoro, interessanti buffet durante i meetings e potranno anche essere serviti al di fuori della nostra struttura.

We manage our "home" (that's how we consider our hotel) with care and professionality, availing ourselves of the collaboration of our staff, to offer our guests a pleasent and quiet familiar atmosphere, with a measured treatment on every person. This year the Hotel Talao, celebrates its 30th year of activity. It's the second generation of the Leo family who, availing themselves from the experience acquired during the years, manage the activity with passion and the want to satisfy their guests needs. The structure is directly situated on a wide private beach, in the centre of Scalea. Scalea is one of the principal seaside resort centres of the upper Tirreno Cosentino, with wide beaches and cliffs with suggestive seaside caves.

The Structure: The reception staff is at your disposal for any information 24 hours on 24: about the structure, transport systems and usefull informations about your journey; moreover we'll be pleased to advise and inform you about local events, excursions, sports and free time. By the reception counter are available: maps of Scalea, info material of the neighbouring zones, possible excursions to do with local agencies or "by yourself", offers for amusements, cultural and religious show programs organised at Scalea or in neighbouring towns.
By entering the Hotel you'll find a hospitable hall with the bar and three terraces who put in appearance: the sea, Scalea's main street, the Talao tower and the ancient town.

Restaurant: The renewed restaurant room, offers an elegant and comfortable surrounding to make you feel at ones ease and to let you taste better the dishes prepared with care by our chef and by our confectioner. Every day the kitchen staff will delight you with tipical calabrese and mediterranean dishes, italian specialities and international dishes. During the main meals there will be available a salad buffet. The lunch and dinner menu allows you to choose from 3 first dishes, 4 second dishes (from which 1 always with fish), and 2 desserts. For the ones who have health problems (ex. allergy), religious choices or for vegetarians, our collaborators are always at your disposal. All this supervised by the owners, who care with particular attention the choice of prime materials and the menu which will be offered to you.
Be tempted: by a romantic dinner at candle light, served near the swimming-pool or on the seaview terrace, or celebrate an important recurrance with a lunch on a local fish base ending with a delicious cake made by our confectioner. The management every 15 days organises a typical lunch on the country side with the demonstration of how preparing the famous pasta "fusilli scaleoti", and to end the tasting of our "citron" liqueur. Ones the week, pizza cooked with skill by our chef in the traditional stone oven.
The Hotel Talao's restaurant, famous in all the surrounding, is also used for elegant wedding banquets and for other pleasant resurrances or bussines lunches.

Meetings: The hotel disposes of 2 meeting halls for 8 to 100 persons.
We organize nice coffee breaks, delicious bussines lunches, interesting buffet during the meetings and they can also be served out of our structure.
