Inaugurato nel 1957, e da sempre gestito dalla famiglia Berthod, l'hotel Astoria è situato ai piedi del Monte Bianco, a 800 metri dalla funivia della Val Veny, a 20 metri dalla funivia del Monte Bianco, a 3 kilometri dal centro di Courmayeur e all'imbocco della Val Ferret dove, in inverno, gli appassionati dello sci di fondo e, d'estate, gli escursionisti e i giocatori di golf possono praticare il loro sport preferito.
L'hotel è in stile valdostano, arricchito dai suoi caminetti in sala da pranzo e nel soggiorno e da mobili antichi tipici. Inoltre nella sala da pranzo, da cui si gode una splendida vista del Monte Bianco, si possono gustare piatti tipici regionali e nazionali, preparati con cura dallo Chef Mario.
Le 34 camere arredate in legno sono dotate di telefono, servizi privati e tv satellitare.

Since 1957, the Astoria Hotel has been managed by the Berthod family. It is situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, at 800 metres from the Val Veny cablecar, 20 metres from the Mont Blanc cablecar, 3 km from the center of Courmayeur and the Val Ferret entrance where, in winter, the cross-country skiers can practice their favourite sport, and, in summer, the trekkers and golfers can enjoy their hobbies.
The hotel is in the "Aosta Valley" style and it has fireplaces in the dining-room and in the sitting-room and old, typical furniture. Besides, in the dining room, while enjoying a splendid view of Mont Blanc, you can taste regional and national typical dishes, carefully prepared by Mario the chef.
All 34 rooms have wood furniture, telephone, satellite TV and bathroom.
