L' Hotel Del Sole è situato ad un km. e mezzo dal centro di Roccaraso (stazione sciistica nel cuore dell'Appennino Abruzzese), a due km dalle strutture sportive comunali: Palazzo del Ghiaccio, AcquaFantasy e Bowling, a quattro km da Rivisondoli (famosa per il Presepe vivente) sei km da Pescocostanzo (noto centro medioevale), dieci km da Castel di Sangro (nota per la pesca della trota), a quaranta km da Sulmona (famosa per i confetti e le sue antichtà) ed a mezz'ora di macchina dal Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo.

La struttura sorge in località Piana del Leone, a 1300 metri s.l.m., zona particolarmente tranquilla, tra monti maestosi e boschi, circondato da un ampio parco verde di circa 3.000 mq.

Il parco-giochi è attrezzato di altalene, scivolo, pallavolo, pallacanestro, ping-pong, campetto di calcio, minitennis, bocce, parallele, pattinaggio a rotelle, etc., tutto a disposizione dell'ospite.
