History: Steeped in history and tradition the Imperiale Palace Hotel originally was a private villa built in 1889 by the aristocratic Costa family coming from Corsica. The famous Treaty of Rapallo, which marked the end of the First World War was signed here in 1922. This charming historic house is surrounded by a large park sloping down to the sea. From its wide marble terraces you can enjoy the most enchanting view over Portofino Bay. 11 Single Rooms, 66 Double, 12 Junior Suite and 3 Imperial Suites, all with air conditioning, minibar, international direct dial telephone, satellite TV and radio.
